CAIRO, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- The third round of the Iran-U.S. indirect talks ended in Geneva with "significant progress," and will resume "soon after consultation in the respective capitals," Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi said Thursday on social media platform X.
"Discussions on a technical level will take place next week in Vienna," he said.
According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, after three hours of intensive negotiations earlier on Thursday, delegations from Iran and the United States took a break for "internal consultations" before resuming their talks later in the day. The IRNA said the second stage lasted two hours.
